What’s in KoScrub?
KoScrub is derived from the Konjac plant. Konjac is famously known for its medicinal properties in food but also has a place in the skincare industry, being especially popular in Japan and South Korea.

How does it work?
When I first used my KoScrub, I was genuinely shocked at how easy it was. You simply run it under a tap for 30 seconds and it will go from a hard shell to an enlarged soft one. This activates the ingredients inside and then you massage it around your face. It’s a strange experience for first-timers.
It’s soft but you can feel it penetrating deep into your pores and removing away dirt. By the time you’re finished with it, your skin feels like it has been thoroughly cleansed. Afterwards, just rinse under a tap again and hang to dry.
Results after 3 weeks
I used the charcoal KoScrub exclusively for 3 weeks as I have oily skin and I’m prone to breakouts. I was so impressed by the results. My skin looks far more balanced in terms of oiliness and I haven’t had a single breakout when using it.
I even went onto research more into Konjac after this and found a study in the American Journal of Dermatology and Venereology which concluded that Konjac was effective against treatment of mild to moderate acne. Needless to say, I’ll continue to use KoScrub and I’m thrilled I found it.
